Members of the team from Kuhns Contracting, Inc. recently attended the Dancing with the Stars Gala in support of the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO). The event raises awareness and funding for programs that support people with Down syndrome and their families throughout Central Ohio. Kuhns Contracting is proud to support organizations that strengthen the local community.Â
Our Process
The first step is to call and schedule a consultation. Then we will meet to discuss your vision, project plans, and budget. Our contractor will then take measurements and provide honest feedback. Another meeting will be scheduled to discuss the estimate and review any additional information needed to move forward.
Initial Consultation
The contractor will discuss remodeling vision, goals for space, must-haves, and review inspirational photos or styles. Be preparred to clearly describe your vision. We will walk through the space to take measurements, assess layout, plumbing, electrical, windows, and structural elements. Our contractor will be honest about the budget and may suggest alternative ideas.
Design & Approval
Our contractors will discuss project requirements with a clear scope of work. This will include deliverables, budget, schedule, codes, and standards. Design drawings, specifications, calculations, and material selections will be reviewed with homeowner. The design will comply with codes, standards, and project requirements. Homeowner will review and approve the proposed design by signing proposal.Â
Build & Management

Our contractors will perform the work according to the signed proposal. We will confirm if the materials meet the approved specifications. They will confirm quantities and delivery dates. He will coordinate subcontractors in order for the work to be performed in the correct sequence. He will supervise the daily activities. Payments are to be made based on verified progress per the proposal. There will be a final walkthrough with your contractor to confirm your project has been completed according to the approved proposal contract. During the walkthrough, any remaining touch-ups or incomplete items will be documented and addressed per proposal before project closeout.
